We are delighted to welcome you to our new website, which marks the first step in a new voyage for us at the Shackleton Exhibition!
2014 has been a great year for us, capped off with a Trip Advisor Travellers Choice award, but the time has come to bring the gripping story of the Endurance Expedition to more people than ever, both online & offline.
To meet increasing demand, we have created a Virtual Tour that will allow us to connect to school classrooms all over the world to tell the story of Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance Exhibition. The Virtual Tour was designed to bring the most exciting elements of the exhibition to life and allow our presenters to interact live with an entire classroom of students, providing a fun learning experience for groups of all sizes.
2015 will also see us officially launch our Leadership Skills Workshops. Our workshops explore the leadership methods used by Shackleton that galvanised the morale of his 28 man crew, stranded on ice as their ship lay on the ocean floor. With no food or communication to the rest of the world, Shackleton knew that only teamwork could bring the men home from the most inhabitable continent on earth.
We will be running half day courses in conjunction with Hannah Carney and Associates every Friday afternoon starting on Friday 9th January 2015. The workshops cost €175 per person for 2 or more from the same company, and they will all begin with a personal guided tour of the Endurance Exhibition. In addition, to mark the centenary of the Endurance Exhibition plans are a foot to take the exhibition on a world tour starting in late 2015 through to 2017. If your company would like to sponsor our world tour or any of our other activities mentioned above please contact us.
